Mike Pruss is the Chief Executive Officer at NSI, based out of our Huntersville, NC headquarters. He joined NSI in 2020 and has over 30 years of experience in financial leadership roles.

Prior to NSI, Mike was the SVP and CFO of PlayPower, Inc., a role he began in 2011.

His earlier experiences include being SVP and CFO of Jackson Safety/Kimberly-Clark for seven years, SVP and CFO of WorldPages, Inc. for three years, and controller or auditor roles with Falcon Products, Argosy Gaming Company and Arthur Andersen.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Joe is the President of the Electrical Division at NSI, based out of our Huntersville, NC headquarters. He joined NSI in 2022 and has over thirty years of experience, 24 of them in the electrical industry.

Prior to NSI, Joe was the VP of Sales at Ideal Industries, INC. for six years.

He also previously served as the VP/General Manager at SK Hand Tools, as VP of Sales and Marketing and as an RSM at Ideal, as an RSM at Shell, and in other sales positions with Sun Oil Company, Subaru and Black & Decker.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Pennsylvania State University.

Dave DiDonato is the President of the Network Infrastructure Business Unit, based out of our Huntersville, NC Headquarters. He joined NSI in 2017 and has more than 35 years of experience in the Electrical and Industrial markets, including Sales, Marketing and Channel Management roles.

Prior to NSI, Dave served as CEO of Quick Cable Corporation for three years.

His past experiences include a VP of Sales position with the Acutant Corporation, manager roles with Ideal Industries, a VP position with SupplyFORCE and sales roles with Allen Bradley – Rockwell Automation and the Westinghouse Electrical Company.

His received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Union College.

Michael is the Chief Information Officer at NSI, based out of our Huntersville, NC headquarters. He joined NSI in 2022 and has more than 25 years of experience in IT and Digital roles.

Prior to NSI, he was a Senior Executive Partner with Gartner, a role he began in 2016.

His other past experiences include being the VP of IT at Red Hat, Senior Director of IT for the Markel Corporation and nine years of experience with Capital One in Director and Senior Director roles.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration: Accounting from Mount Olive University and a master’s in Management of IT from the University of Virginia.

Troy Hayes is the Chief Human Resources Officer at NSI. Based out of our Huntersville, North Carolina, headquarters, he joined the company in 2024 and has more than 25 years of experience in Human Resources.

Before joining NSI, Troy was Vice President of Talent Development and Corporate HR at AutoNation. Prior to AutoNation, he was a Principal Consultant at Summit Leadership Partners. Previously, he spent 17 years at Ingersoll Rand in various leadership positions, including Vice President of Talent and Organizational Capabilities and Vice President of HR in the Compression Technology and Services global business.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree and doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology.

Damon Anderson is the Vice President of Global Sourcing at NSI, based out of our Huntersville, NC headquarters. He joined NSI in 2017 and has over 24 years of experience.

Prior to NSI, Damon held leadership roles in Sourcing and Marketing with Newell Brands, primarily working with tools, plastics, healthcare and Rubbermaid, for 15 years.

He also has more than 20 years of experience teaching English in China and held a Business Development Specialist position at VerticalNet.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Samford University.

Jeff Huss is the Director of Mergers & Acquisitions at NSI, based out of our Huntersville, NC headquarters. He joined NSI in 2022 and has over 17 years of experience with mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to coming to NSI, Jeff was the Corporate Development Senior Manager with Rite-Hite for four years.

His other past experiences include an Associate Director position with Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, a role as Senior Associate with Incline Equity Partners and Analyst positions with Warburg Pincus and Merrill Lynch.

He received a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
